Why? Well, because they’re the most fun, of course! My author mission is to represent mothers well in fiction. Because of this, I write about sarcastic moms solving supernatural mysteries. Moms deserve to see themselves as the chosen one who slays the monster and saves the world!

I am a congenital heart defect survivor who finds joy and peace through the expression of writing. I engage in and have been published in many formats from poetry to short stories to flash fiction and nonfiction as well as novels and series. I focus first and foremost on the character with a style that strives to make sense of the real world. I enjoy including a splash of faeries or dragons but don’t always expect a happy ending. My husband and I spend our free time wrangling two children and playing video games in our busy California lifestyle.
